Big Brother Magazine Issue #1

Chalk Crik

April 11th, 2008

It was a quiet Thursday morning when Ian Provo and myself decided to head up to the mountains to go ride our sleds around. I left my house and met up @ the Provo residence around 9ish to transfer my sled from my truck to Ian’s two place trailer, because Neil was already off to Powder Mountain shooting with the guys from Future Magazine. We loaded up, headed to Kamas, gassed up and snacked up and then were on our way to Oakley, then up the Weber canyon road. When we arrived at the Thousand Peaks Ranch, it was only us, the bluebird sky’s and some Old-School Bro fixing up his mini snow cat/tank vehicle looking thing (never seen anything like it). We got geared up and headed up into the mountains, following the weber river drainage.

Right away I new it was going to pretty darn epic up there, because there was a good amount of snow in the lower elevations. We had just gotten a nice spring dump and the area we were headed to in the Uintah’s was reporting deep, light, over-the-hood snow conditions. Right as we were getting pretty high up around 10,000 feet or 10,500 feet, Ian spotted a Massive Moose! He was just trotting along in the snow and headed over to a grove of trees, to mow down and then bed down and take a nice rest. We made our last big hill climb out of the weber drainage area and over into a place called Chalk Crick. From there you could see endless untouched powder terrain, tower mountain and nature at its finest! Ian and I were amazed at how much bottomless powder snow there was to be ruped up! There was easily a good two feet, or maybe even more in some spots. When you jumped off your sled it was mid-thigh to waist deep in the super nooks. This area is great for exploring and more specifically great for sledding. Its huge open meadows, with giant rollers and fun natural terrain to get wicked on with your snowmobile. Shred wise it might not be as good, because it doesn’t have a lot of rock or cliff features, but if your into building booters, your pretty much stoked.

Ian and I had so much fun dipping deep with our sleds into bottomless super light, dry Utah powder, that we didn’t even break out the shred gear, just the camera to capture some of the best sledding I’ve ever gotten to do in the springtime! Plus we couldn’t double up any of the steep ridge lines to take pow runs, for the mer fact that it was just too darn deep for doubling up the steeps, even with Ian’s 154 track, lord knows the Yami wasn’t going to be able to handle that ishy. Overall, the best part about the day was that we were the only souls up there all day, besides the Moose, not one other sledder or human to be heard or seen, except for planes and jets in the big open blue sky. A Huge thanks goes out to the Most High and the Utah nature for blessing us with a another Righteous one for the Books!

Volcom PBJ - Brighton, Utah 4/5/08

April 6th, 2008

The day was April 5th 2008, a fresh dusting of snow graced the drive way of our 1140 Park Ave. compound. I awoke to a young Irish man named Paddy O’Connor ever so gently caressing my couch while in the corner was a fellow Click employee that is commonly known this side of the Mississippi as Jackie Taylor A.K.A Transgender. After glancing at the clock and realizing it was 8:00AM it hit me that i was not preregistered for this snowboard event i was looking forward to attend this very day called Volcom’s Peanut Butter and Rail Jam, maybe you’ve heard of it. After saying my farewells to my roomate Peter Rocksalt (Youtube Keyword: Techno Viking) I hopped into the young irish man’s trusty bumperless Toyota Corolla and was ridin solo to a legendary mountain called Brighton. Arriving at Brighton At 9:00AM Low on Ipod Battery because this murdered out Toyota Corolla does not pick up radio or take cds cassettes 8tracks etc. Knowing this i had to preserve my battery for go time so i had to wait for registration in a desperate insane asylum like state. Things started to look up though guys in Special Blend looking Volcom outerwear appeared before me. I darted for the registration desk, in a act of desperation i grabbed all the ink pens on the desk to insure no one was taking my spot. Finally i was guaranteed to be in, i filled out remaining paper with false names and addresses just in case they decided they wanted to press charges on me for the high marking i did it the toilet of stall three, minutes before. The only thing i had left to figure out was how to get out of this tight room filled with a mass of hipster kids who were doing more grinding than Zac Flowers in Harry o’s on Myspace night. Low on cash and high on Red Bull I was dodging the fact that i had to buy a lift ticket so i put on my dumb founded face and started the 50 yard hike to the rail setup. 25 yards in I spot a herd of Hebbel look alikes getting shut down by a park crew official telling them they had to buy a lift ticket or they would be police escorted of the premises. Hearing this i ducked behind a tree in a effort not to be spotted. I was telling myself think caleb think just then something shiny caught my eye. It was a childs day pass from April the forth. At this moment i realized this separates the men from the babys . So i grasped the ticket in my hand and approached this shady character on the snowmobile i flashed the ticket in the air know their was a 50/50 chance he was goin to question me. today my friend chance was on my side, he said your good. The hard part was done now all i have to do is snowboard. I hiked to the top of the the setup and started warming up with some mellow 450’s. The day was filled with michael jacksons, scorpions, and Griffin Siebert A.K.A.GTree.The day went good and I came home a hundred bucks richer and with a spot reserved for the championships in Mammoth,CA. Stay Tuned for more of the silent chronicles of a young Flower’s Story.

Hip Session behind the Canyons Resort Take One:

March 18th, 2008

So… ya’ the session started out back on the 5th of March. The crew consisted of Skiing Legend CR “CBUDZ” Johnson, the Provo Bros. Ian and Neil and Myself. We made the trek back to Square Top Bowl and moseyed our way on down to the roller at the bottom that goes into Red Pine Lake, while getting real surfy with it, slashin’ up some of that new Utah Blower on the way. I think it was Ian who actually had the idea of building the jump hip style, coming out of the trees and boosting either across the knoll down into the tranny, or taking it down riders right into the steeper part of the landing. We went to work shoveling blocks and preparing the kicker and the in-run. All day the weather had been kinda weird and we had been getting breaks of sun and then intense lake effect snow, where at times it was dumping really quite hard. About the time we were done building the jump, we all sat down, took a safety/meditation meeting to get the thoughts together and decided that it would be best if we just came back the next day, when we knew the weather was going to be better for shooting.

The next day arrived and the crew got up early to rise with the sun and get to our perfectly crafted hip jump as soon as possible, before a bunch of random Barnyards noticed it and poached it. That’s the only real factor that you have to deal with building jumps where other resort riders can get to, by hiking a couple of ridges with out a snow machine, even though it is technically not owned by the canyons, its right on the boarder and owned by the Osgathourpe Family. I probably totally botched the spelling on that last name…no dis-respect, in fact MAD RESPECT goes out to that fam for letting us guys get wicked on the land!

The session started out with me guinea pigging’ and going way to slow…i think i have a problem with feeling like the speed is way too fast on the first go…i really need to work on that. Neil pretty much slayed it, stomping back five first attempt, and a MEGA back seven after a couple try’s. Big CBUDZ also killed it with a first try stomped three and back sevy as well. A SUPER BIG UPs to CBUDZ for stomping his first seven off a Back-country jump since his accident a couple years back. I myself landed a switch back five, minus the grab and then pretty much ended my session by sub-luxing my shoulder on a funky rag doll. Ian Provo shot sequences and stills and captured some pretty epic ISH! This backside slash photo, compliments of my favorite photog Ian P, gives u a bit of a sneak peak at how the snow was that day. This turn was executed right to the riders right of our epic hip jump.

Thx for taking the time to read my thoughts….make sure to stop back by and check in again real soon to hear about our sledding adventures in Logan Utah. O ya and don’t forget that 40% off sale thats going on right now on all the snow gear. Stop by one of our three shops, or search the site online for that missing item to your wardrobe, before its all gone!

The Click Skate Contest Series - June 2007

Well it would be an understatement to say that the first contest series at PC got started off with a bang, it was more like an explosion! The sun was blasting, the youths were charging and the judges were straight up blown away by the talent and amount of worthy hammers that got thrown down in both the bowls and the street. It all got started around eleven, after a bit of registration chaos, banner set-ups and turntable hookups. The judges were definately stoked on the shade set up at the entrance to the original park set-up, which by the way is the only shade in the entire park. The judging panel included local sk8 brethren Aaron “Schwendles” Schwendiman, Drew “Slash Master” Tabke, Tommi “Too Much” Ylianttila, Zach “Siebertspace” Siebert and Brain “from back in the day” Anderson. The beats and turntablism skills were provided by DJ Mooney and the man on the mic announcing the showdown was Click Owner and buisnessman extrodinaire Josh “KManz” Kaufman. The format was judged on the combination of two runs from each category, beginners, intermediate and advanced or the open division. The begginners were first to go, making there first mark on the sk8 sceen with rock n’ rolls in the mini ramp, kick turns, drop-ins and little ollie crackers. Following the begginers were the intermediate division sk8rs that in some cases were shredding harder than the advanced guys. Little Idaho transplant Cameron manz took his first run blasting kickflips over the pyrimid and maintaining consistancy, earning him a move up to the advanced division in an annoynamist decision by the judges. Eventhough he wasent very stoked on the judges desision, it was where he belonged, just sk8 that much better next time buddy! Other Intermediate stand-outs included flat-ground rodney mullen tricks by one of the Layton sk8rs, clean mannys on the block in the new section and nice flip tricks on the pyrimid. After a little practice session, the open sk8rs were ready to rock. Little 12-year-old Salt Lake Local Tyeson Bowerbank is most-definately a name to remember. This little guy sk8s like a grown man, whos had years to perfect the style and trick selection. Right away you could tell that this kid was way too comfortable on his board. Blasting stale-fishes on the hips, tech-flip tricks up the step-up and huge kickflips down the eight stair, this kid just could’nt fall, super consistant and super on-point. Other Advanced stand-out performances included Patty O’Conners Mega blasts over the pyrimid, Mike O’Days clean-flicks and front boards down the big rail, Nick Gullis heelflip back 50 on the tall ledge and Gary Galvan’s tre-bomb blast over the pyrimid. Onto the bowls we went, were once again little man Tyeson B was destroying the sh$@%# out the trannys, surfing and blasting about like it was nobodys buisness but his own to sk8 there. Once the kid through his first run down it was basically over and done with, what can I say the kid owns the bowls. He layed down massive melon blasts on the backside hip, blasts in the vert, both frontside and backside handplants, steezy tricks over the spine and just all around nice style with the grinds. Other stand-outs in the bowls included Gary Galvans grinds, reverts and all-around good style and Drew Brightons cement surfing skills and grindage. When It was all said and done Little Tyeson came away with both the Advanced street and Open Bowls victories, congrats little buddy! Second place in the Open street went to the technician Nick Gulli and Third place went to loc dawg Mike “O Day,All Day,E’r Day” O’day. We could’nt end the sesh that easy, we had to do a best trick down the new double-set, giving away goodies and hard cold cash money. Stand-out performances went to Schwendiman with his mega melon blast over the rail, clearing the double-set and his back 180 melon over the rail. Mike O’day had a nice front feeble grind down the big dawg, eventhough it took him a few trys, nice work buddy. Drew Brighton had a nice backlip and a switch ollie blast down the set and Layton local Christian Seirka’s had a very proper heelflip blast down the set as well. What can I say? Lots of guys were givin it their all loc dawgs Patty O’Conner and Caleb Flowers both snapped their decks trying to tre-bomb the beast. When the smoke cleared the cash went to Heber local Ozzy Henning with his perfectly executed textbook hardflip down the set landing bolts…as perfect as it gets kids! All in all it was a great contest and the Click wants to thank all those who came out to watch and sk8….until next time…….PZ OUT -ZACH SIEBERT

Volcom Escramble DVD

November 3rd, 2006

One of the better Snowboard DVD’s to own this season is Escramble, Volcoms team movie, featuring all your favorite Volcom rippers. These guys worked not one, but two seasons to bring you their best. The format of this video is a little different than your average shred flick, in that there is no titles for the riders (which means you gotta have a sharp eye for knowing who is who, so for all you shred heads this will not be a problem), zany music (goes good with the riding and editing) and the editing is mixed in with off the wall claymation. The flick opens up with Hard-hitting Finnish rider Ville Yli-luoma stomping trick after trick in the fresh and busting out more than one of those famous nine-hundreds. Icon and snowshred extrodinare Terje Haakonsen shows that he has got more control than most ever will, in a rad heli segment alongside longtime favorite and style master Jamie Lynn and the Guch. Austrian loc dawg Gigi Ruf bombs some gnarly lines in his home turf Alps and Chris Demolski and Zac Marben get to jibbing in some sweet zones. Seth Huot comes through with yet another banger segment as usual, along with Utah favorite Erik Leines and powder hound Mark Lndvik. Don’t forget child prodigy Shaun White, doing what he does best and linking up back to back spinners, no questions asked. The Volcom DVD comes to a close with shred expert Bjorn Leines. This guys footage may arguably be some of his best yet. Bjorn’s got everything from Illmatic Heli footage, to super technical Utah pow footage, to banger rail and jib stompers, to skate influenced rock rides and just all around good original stylish snowboarding. Overall the riding speaks for itself and if your down to watch some of the best pro shreds in all of the world get busy on their sticks, in some of the best riding locals, this Volcom DVD Escramble is a must have! This Volcom DVD was shot on location in Austria, New Zealand, Bulgaria, Minnesota, Washington, California, Montana, Utah, Wyoming & Canada.

Volcom Megasis Pant & Volcom Quadrant Jacket

November 3rd, 2006

If your going to choose Volcom Outerwear this year to keep you warm and dry, your best bet is to go with the Volcom Quadrant Snowboard Jacket and Volcom Megasis Snowboard pant. Both of these items provide the rider with high style points and high function efficiency. Both of these items come equipped with Volcom’s Zip tech pant to jacket system; meaning the Volcom Quadrant Jacket zips right in the Volcom Megasis pant, eliminating wet bottoms and undergarments when those unfriendly bails do occur. According to many Pro shreds, this zip tech feature is a must have and there is no doubt that many other companies are going to start following in Volcoms footsteps in the near future on this one. Both the Megasis pant and the Quadrant jacket come with the Gore-Tex soft-shell plain weave fabric, guaranteed to keep you dry, even in the gnarliest conditions. The Megasis pant and the Quadrant jacket come locked and loaded with Volcoms three layer laminate shell fabrication with a brushed flannel liner, keeping the steez popping and the warm blood flowing. In addition Volcom added their magnetic, easy to access technology and their Recco technology, on both the Megasis pant and Quadrant Jacket, which is a advanced avalanche recovery system; meaning the rescuers and your homies will have an easier time finding you, if you were to fall victim to the great white wave, courtesy of mother nature. Also take note to the style or steez (whichever you prefer) of the Volcom hand print pattern that is on both the Megasis pant and the Quadrant jacket, let’s all be honest now it looks better than your stock blacks, blues, whites, or any other average color scheme or pattern, plus if your into filming and taking photos it pops really well, making it easier to see you and your steez in the shot.

Burton CO2 Binding

November 3rd, 2006

The Burton CO2 binding is an excellent choice when it comes to purchasing a new 07 binding. The CO2 binding takes function and fashion and intertwines the two so perfectly that many still cant believe they are available to the public. This Burton CO2 binding is so fluid, light and responsive that it will seem like you are floating weightless on a cloud. Burton offers their all-new ultra-light Air Mesh hi-back on this one, which takes board feel and control to the absolute extreme, leaving most wondering why Burton hasn’t developed a binding this good in the past. The CO2’s hi-back is revolutionary and anatomically designed to transfer energy, mimicking the human form, eliminating painful pressure points and resulting in superb comfort. This Burton CO2 binding was also developed and designed by Professional Freestyle Masters Frederik Kalbermatten and Mads Jonsson. These two created the CO2 binding to withstand super stomped landings of any snow condition and really focused in on the board-to-body connection, which is usually overlooked.

Burton Ruler Hemp Boot

November 2nd, 2006

The Burton Ruler is by far one the best boots in the line this year. This Burton boot is good for all aspects of shredding, weather it be slashing the super deep pow, maching the hard pack, or learning that new trick in the pipe, or park. Burtons new technology is off the cyberchain with their new micro articulating cuff, which builds off the independent zonal support of Speed Zone. This new Speed Zone technology enables the upper and lower zones of the boot to flex independently. The result of this you might ask? The result happens to be natural, kink-free flex which equals maximum Tweakage and stopability. Once you start riding this Burton Ruler boot, dont be surprized to see your cat-like insticts come through. Plus, with the steezy righteous RastafarI colors on the sole and the earthly hemp and army green color scheme on the upper boot how could you go wrong?

Burton Dominant Snowboard

November 2nd, 2006

Technine Team 2 Chris Coulter Binding

November 2nd, 2006

The Technine Team 2 binding designed by Chris Coulter is a great binding in the line this year. The camo color way comes equipped with custom Technine embroidered highback pad logo and military sport highback logo that is essential for style both on and off the hill. The Team 2 Chris Coulter binding has a thick durable leather heel strap that is so comfortable it will have your foot feeling like its not even strapped into a binding. The Baltimore toe strap is another great feature, leaving your foot and toes stationary and making it very hard for movement or slipage to occur, which we all know is not fun. The tool free toe adjustment is another great feature on this technine binding, along with the hidden forward lean adjuster which is tool free. The rubber grips on the ratchets on both the heel and toe straps make it that much easier on those fridged days to get those straps dialed in. The custom embroidered logos on both the toe and heel straps add to the all around style factor, leaving your fellow shred buddies wondering why they aren’t rocking bindings as cool as yours. This Team 2 Chris Coulter binding also comes fresh out the box with 4-hole disk base plates and 3-hole disks are available if thats what is needed. Sizing: Medium-Large.

The Suomi Saga continues

March 6th, 2006

BLOGERBRO

The Suomi Saga continues…Its March third, about three days before I have to return to the States. Ever since I arrived Risto was telling me about this jib contest up in Lahti, which is a town about an hour and a half to two hours north of Helsinki. We make a plan and decide to get up early the next day, bring the drop-in ramp (thanks to Torsti, very good craftsmanship I might add), and hit up some jib spots around Lahti, before the contest starts. Seven AM rolls around way to fast, we get geared up, hop into Fabios ride (Ristos Pops), pick up Vesa and make our way to Lahti. We roll into town and make our first stop, which is o yes you guessed it HESBURGER! There is nothing like getting your jib energy from a kerros ateria meal, it really gives you that extra pop you need. After Hesburger, we cruised around checked out a couple of spots and ended up hitting this down flat down cement ledge with a big drop on one side and gnarly ruff stairs on the other. Shit went down, Tommi was bustin’ combinations unheard of, while I had fun just making it to the end. After we were satisfied with the sesh, the tricks and the filming (most important), we packed it up and cruised into town to go peep the jib contest set up. When we arrived I was really surprised with the set up. They had one of the main streets going down into the town plaza closed off, where there was a big scaffolding drop-in at the top, a big air booter and a stair set up, with a flat bar and a kinker at the bottom. They also had a big stage in the plaza where I was told was going to be where the live finnish hip hop group were to be playing. When we arrived the dudes putting on the contest must have been star struck, because they asked Tommi right away if he wanted to be a judge. Tommi of course agreed and we headed down the street to get some food and beer. When we returned the contest was almost underway. Spectators were filling in like crazy and fins started dropping in to boost the booter. I could not believe how many people actually showed up for the event, it was crazy! Since I was the only english speaking guy that was doing to the contest the organizer had to tell everybody what was up with the format and what not in finnish and then tell me alone in english. Once the warmups started, nobody could get enough speed to clear the jump, especially Risto and I, because our bases were all ruffed up from the ledge we were hitting earlier in the day. At that point Risto and I decided that we were not even going to hit the jump, but just drop in from the landing and hit the jib set up. The Finnish Hip Hopers started performing, more fins filed in and the announcer started speaking finnish jibberish to the crowd. I couldn’t help but feel kinda stupid, because every time before I would drop the announcer would say “OK HERE IS JACK SIEBERT FROM USA LETS SEE WHAT HES GOT! ” After some stock tricks and a bail or two, I got a cab 27ver to fakie and Risto got a 270 lip (super banger!). Risto tried again for some odd reason, took the metal to his knee and was done for the night. We stayed and watched finals, where the fins started to clear the jump and started chucking some maneuvers. Luckily that hip hop group stopped and the DJ started playing Warren G (much better choice). All in all it was a really fun night, this finnish punker bro backflipped the set, this young kid switch front-boarded the kinker and I signed autographes for young girls in their autograph books, which was really weird, because kids were killing it way harder than I was.

Finland shred sesh

February 25th, 2006

BLOGERBROSKI

The Finland trip was pretty dope. It all started out on Feb 23rd. I left Salt Lake City and met up with the infumous Mr. Ylianttila and Risto in Helsinki on the 24th. I decided to stay up with absolutely no sleep and head to the Bar where Finland was playing Russia in the semi finals of the olympics. The scene was out of hand. Peeps were going crazy. Lots of drinks went down, lots of brodown sessions went down and Malmi was stumbling about trying to fight barneys at the bar. After much sleep we decided to get motivated and hit this wooden kinker that Ristoclat knew of. We set it up, made sure everything was legit and started hitting it. For a little extra speed we had a bro push in and got er done. Tommi got some tricks, I myself got a trick and risto filmed, still in semi-recovery from the broken coller bone injury. We celebrated with reindeer meat (a finnish favorite), mashed potatoes, cranberries and Karhu (super good finnish beer).

Check back for another day in Suomi (Finland) coming soon…

Steamboat Shred History

Steamboats snowboard scene- past to present

April 4, 2006

By: Scotty Goodale

Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Ski town U.S.A. Who would of thought that a small SKI town in northwestern Colorado would have such rich history in snowboarding. I decided to move to Steamboat in 1993 because there was a small 2 year college there and my parents would pay for me to live and to go school to there. Little did they know that all I wanted to do is snowboard and I found a way to do it all the time. I moved into the dorms at Colorado Mountain College and met some people who shared my same interest. I quickly became friends with Matt Sickels and Shawn Taylor. They moved to Steamboat a year before me and introduced me to a bunch of people around town. Sickels roommate was Spencer Tamblin he was the first sponsored rider I ever met. He rode for Nitro, Bamboo curtain, Oakley and Mambosock, I think. I got my first dose at how good he was by watching him tweak tricks at pre season kicker sessions at Buff Pass. As the winter moved on I started skipping class a lot and riding the mountain everyday. I started noticing a couple of dudes doing stuff that I thought was not possible. I would ask people who they were and they would tell me Oh thats Quinn Sandvold or thats Perry Coleman. These guys were gnarly. On one particular occasion there were these snowmaking machines that would stand as high as my shoulders and I would watch Quinn come hauling ass and switch ollie tail grab over these things and make it look so easy. Seeing all these progressive moves got me hungry for more. I spent all my money on new snowboarding videos. I went to this shop called Totally Board. The employees there told me buy this movie called C and C underground it was by this new movie company Kingpin productions. It starred a couple of guys that worked in the shop a posse known as the S.F.P.D. These guys were a few years older then me and were pushing the progression of snowboarding in Steamboat harder then anyone. The S.F.P.D. consisted of Keith Wilson, George Kleckner, Gabe Crane, Jeff Hancock, Kalei Picher, Allen Shootz, John King, Quinn Sandvold, Perry Coleman and some other key people that I am forgetting. These guys would roll deep on a run at Steamboat that everyone rode called Norther. They were killing it with there big Blind jeans, flannels, sunglasses and their late backside 180s. I fortunately was taken in by this crew and quickly had to step up my game. They gave me a job at Totally Board and I squeezed myself into the snowboard scene. Snowboarding soon consumed all my time, and I dropped out of college. I found a place to live and had to get a second job. I met the Joyride snowboards rep Paul and he put me on his rep team. I now was hungrier then ever and desired the occupation of a pro snowboarder. I would go and ride with Gabe Crane and watch how easy snowboarding was to him. He had the career that I wanted to have. He rode for Joyride, Dub, 32, Droors all the sick companies and always had his A game on. Still to this day no one can touch his switch methods and his backside 5s. Gabes popularity rose as the years rolled on. Kingpin productions was the hot movie company coming out of Colorado. Stevie Alters, J2, Ali Goulet, Ninja Jay Isaacs all those guys would come to Steamboat and hook up with SFPD and go Film. A year or two passed and Gabe felt stagnant in Steamboat. He went to Tahoe moved in with Blaise Rosenthal, picked up some new sponsers and started filming for Mack Dawg. The SFPD all started going there separate ways too. I continued to shred with Sickels and T-bone and continued to progress. My snowboarding soon needed more then what the in bounds was offering so I got some snowshoes and went on solo expeditions to find kicker spots. Some of my travels were so vast that I would end up getting back to the ski area, alone, and at dark. The next couple of years I filmed with Noyes productions and continued to ride for Joyride and Dragon. 1998 came and Joyride wanted me to get more involved in the snowboard scene. They told me that if I move to Utah that they would pay my rent so I did and Shawn and Sickels and me moved to Utah. Since then a couple of groms have come up to hold it down for the Steamboat Shred scene. Joe Eddy, Grant Glenn, and Matt Ladley are some of the notables now who were introduced to the sport thanks to its former rulers of the town. And the saga continues
