The reason why Magne-traction and Banana technology work so well together is because of the extra points of contact that Magne-Traction incorporates into the edge of the snowboard. Banana technology is having a rocker built into your snowboard so your nose and tail of your snowboard are a little off the ground. If your nose and tail are off the ground, so are your contact points with a typical snowboard without Magne-Traction.
